June 6th, 2008 · No Comments

A jury in Milwaukee County Circuit Court awarded over $10 million in damages to a hospital injury victim represented by Milwaukee personal injury lawyers Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C.

On Feb. 20, 2006, Larry Schultz, who had suffered from multiple sclerosis since 1988, went to St. Luke’s Medical Center for a spinal injection of the drug Baclofen to treat spasticity  symptoms from his condition. Due to a mistake, however, Schultz was also injected with the Reno-60, a drug which had a label clearly stating that it was not to be administered by spinal injection. Due to the mistake, Schultz suffered severe neurological damage, seizures, and spasticity, causing fractured bones and extreme pain.

Schultz, who was represented by Daniel Rottier of the firm Habush, Habush, & Rottier, was awarded $584,982 for past medical expenses, $4.5 million for future expenses, and $5 million for pain and suffering.
