The mother of a teenage student seriously injured in an accident after getting off the school bus has filed suit against the school district and two motorists involved.
Linda Ferrante’s lawsuit, which names East Greenbush Central School District as one of its defendants, claims that, on June 6, 2005, Amanda Ferrante was struck by a car after getting off a school bus driven by an unnamed driver. She alleges that the driver failed to proceed to his assigned stop and dropped the children off on a busy section of road.
The lawsuit asks for damages relating to Amanda’s injuries, including head trauma, a broken shoulder blade, contusions, and hair loss.
