Dog Bite Victim Upset Over Police Response

April 25th, 2008 · No Comments

A woman who was attacked by several dogs while on vacation in Florida is upset with the police response to her injuries.

Jacqueline Henderson, of New Jersey, was taking a morning walk when two dogs surrounded her, showing signs of aggression. Henderson tried to leave the scene, but was bitten on the back of leg by one of the dogs. She climbed on top of a neighbor’s car to avoid further injury.  The neighbor informed her that the dogs had a history of biting people.  However, Henderson was upset to learn that police only required to the owner to quarantine his dogs in the aftermath of the attack.

Henderson was treated at a local hospital for a contusion and hematoma.
