A Cambellsport, Wisconsin woman will faces charges following an accident in which 3 people were injured and she was driving under the influence of both marijuana and pain medications.
She has been charged with use of a vehicle with a controlled substance in the blood resulting in great bodily harm; injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle; 2 counts of operating under the influence of a controlled substance causing injury; two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence resulting in injury; operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense; and operating with a detectable amount of restricted controlled substance in the blood, second offense.
If convicted, the woman faces up to $60,000 in fines and up to 40 years in prison.
The injuries included injuries to a woman’s spinal cord after the resident’s vehicle crashed into the back of a Toyota pickup. There were also injuries to the other two individuals in the vehicle.
