A toddler and her grandmother have been hospitalized in San Jose following an attack involving a family pet. The dog is apparently a boxer mix.
20 month old Anna Leigh Cinco was hospitalized with a bite to the chin. Her grandmother, 48 year old Elizabeth Cinco, was hospitalized with bites to her neck, leg, and ears. She was trying to fend off the dog when she was bitten. The two were feeding two dogs at night when one attacked.
The dog that attacked has been turned over by the family to authorities.
