An accident involving multiple vehicles closed down a strip of I-90 for roughly two hours between Laurel and Billings Monday morning. A grand total of 15 vehicles were involved in 7 different accidents.

Apparently, icy roads are to blame for the first accident. This accident involved a truck going around a curve and losing control. Once the first accident occurred, there was a chain reaction as traffic started piling up. The driver of the pick up truck was listed in fair condition following the accident.

Police officers closed down the interstate to prevent any more accidents from occurring.
