2 elderly women were killed in separate accidents involving vehicles.
The first involved 80-year-old Florence Norton. Ms. Norton was struck by an oil-delivery truck as she crossed a parking lot to go into a doctor’s office for an appointment. She was flown to Albany Medical Center where she lated died.
On Monday, 85-year-old Helen Pastore died after the car in which she was riding was struck by a truck. Ms. Pastore died in surgery at Benedictine Hostpital in Kingston. Her husband, the driver of the car, was listed as being in critical condition at the hospital. The driver of the truck, 53-year-old Symlie Stam, was uninjured in the crash.
